The pivot

The journaling app you bought
didn't save your account.

Reflection happens after the loss. By the time you're typing into a journal, the account is already in violation. TradeTempo is the first tool that calls out drift, breaks tilt, and holds your line — mid-session, every session.

A 9-second intervention

Anatomy of a saved trade.

From the moment you open an order ticket to the moment the AI either lets it through or stops you cold. Every step is local — your orders never leave the browser.

Three jobs · one companion

It watches. It judges. It learns.

01 / Watches
NQ · liveDrift

It watches every order.

The Chrome extension reads your chart and your order ticket in real time. It interrupts the moment you start to drift — not after.

02 / Judges
Entry blockedES · 2 contracts
  • A+ setup confirmed
  • Sizing within plan
  • Max trades · 3 of 2

It judges every entry.

Write rules in plain English. The AI checks every entry against them — sizing, time, setup, daily limits — at order-ticket speed.

03 / Learns
Pattern detected78% loss rate
Tilt window2:30 PM ET
Leak setupfailed breakouts

It learns your patterns.

Spots leak setups, tilt hours, recovery trades. Surfaces the habits you can't see in your own data — and writes new rules for them.

The rules engine

Write them like you'd
tell a coach.

No drop-downs. No JSON. No “configure your strategy parameters.” Just write your plan in English. The AI compiles it into checks that run on every order — and rewrites them as you learn.

  • Plain English in

“Stop after 2 losses.” “Only A+ setups before lunch.” “No revenge trades for 10 minutes.”

  • Real-time check out

Every order ticket runs through the rule set in under 50ms. Pass → submit. Fail → blocked.

  • Auto-suggested rules

After 30 sessions, the AI proposes rules from the patterns it sees in your data. You approve.

    The drift catalog

    Six ways traders break tempo.

Across 4,321 drift events caught in the private beta, every blown account fits one of six patterns. The companion knows them all.

    0138% of catches

    Oversizing

“I just feel really good about this one.” Position is 2× plan. Stop is 3× plan. One trade swings the whole day.

    0221%

    Revenge entry

Loss → 90 seconds → re-entry, bigger size, wrong side. The pattern that drains 1-day funded accounts faster than any other.

    0315%

    Limit creep

“One more trade.” Then one more. Daily-trade-count rule had a number on it once. Now it doesn't.

    0412%

    Off-hours session

9:48 PM. Market's thin. Spreads are wider than your edge. You're not trading — you're paying the rent on someone else's edge.

    059%

    Setup skipping

Plan: only A+ setups. Reality: B-grade trigger looked close enough. The gap between “close” and “valid” is your edge — and you sold it.

    065%

    Target overrun

Hit your daily target at 10:30 AM. Kept trading. Gave it back by noon, then doubled the size to “make it back.” Now you're chasing.

    The wedge

    Catches you mid-trade.

When the AI sees you about to break your own plan, it interrupts. You override or you stop. Either way, you knew.

The Chrome extension is the sharp edge — it sits inches from the order ticket. The dashboard is where the data lives, sessions get reviewed, and patterns get named. Both work alone. Together they're non-negotiable.

    Drift detected

    Sizing drift. Position too large.

    Plan: 2 contracts. Order: 5.

The HUD pops in-page. No tab-switch. No alert sound. Just the rule that fired and the way back.

    Not for everyone

    Skip TradeTempo if…

We built this for one specific person. If that's not you, we'd rather you know now than charge you for something you don't need.

    • 01

      You're already disciplined.

If you've never overtraded, revenge-traded, or oversized — congratulations, you don't need a witness. Use that money on a faster data feed.

    • 02

You trade equities or options on retail brokers.

We're futures-first today (TopstepX, Tradovate, NinjaTrader, Apex). Robinhood and IBKR are on the roadmap, not the install.

    • 03

You want a coach, not a constraint.

TradeTempo doesn't tell you what to trade or when the market's good. It enforces the rules you already wrote. If you want signals, you want a different product.

    • 04

      You won't write rules.

We give you templates, but the system needs your specifics. If you can't articulate what a bad trade looks like for you, the AI can't catch it.

    FAQ

    The questions we get
    before every install.

Will my prop firm see this?+
No. TradeTempo runs entirely in your browser as a Chrome extension. It reads the DOM of your broker's tab to see your orders and your chart, but nothing leaves your machine unless you turn on cloud sync. Your prop firm sees the same orders they always saw — just fewer of the dumb ones.
Does it actually block the order, or just warn me?+
Both, your choice per rule. Soft mode raises a HUD with the rule that's failing and you can override with a click. Hard mode disables the submit button on the order ticket until the condition clears (timer, 1R cooldown, EOD reset, etc). New users start in soft for two weeks. We don't recommend hard until you trust your own rules.
What latency does it add to my entries?+
P50 is 38 ms, P95 is 71 ms, measured on a 2021 M1 Air. Rule checks run locally against a compiled WASM evaluator — no network round-trip on the hot path. If you're scalping for ticks, you'll feel it on the first install and forget about it by week two.
What happens if the AI gets a rule wrong?+
Every plain-English rule compiles to a deterministic check you can read and edit before it runs. The compile step shows you exactly what got translated (size limits, time windows, drawdown thresholds). If a rule looks wrong, you rewrite the English or drop into the raw grammar. The AI never makes a call you haven't approved at compile-time.
Why a Chrome extension and not a desktop app?+
Because the order ticket lives in the browser tab, and the discipline problem happens at the order ticket. A desktop app would need broker API integrations we'd never finish, and most prop firms don't expose order-intent over their APIs anyway. The DOM is where the click happens. So that's where we live.
Is there a free tier or just a trial?+
Solo is free forever — one rule plan, one broker tab, drift catalog, the works. If you want multi-account, multi-strategy plans, or the funded-trader violation guards, that's where Funded ($24/mo) starts paying for itself in about a trade and a half.

Still have a question? hello@tradetempo.ai — we read every one.

    Your strategy works.
    Your discipline doesn't.

Discipline isn't a willpower problem. It's a witness problem. Lock the witness in the browser tab where the orders happen.
